Our showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre in Leicestershire has the Sapcote range on display so you can sit in it and see the Charcoal finish in person. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff are here 7 days a week to talk through what will fit your balcony, patio, or courtyard.

Will the Stone Grey rattan fade in the sun?

The rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE, which is what stops it fading and becoming brittle in direct sunlight. Unlike cheaper PVC rattan that can crack and bleach after a couple of summers, HDPE holds its colour because it's dyed all the way through the strand.

Is the glass top safe?

The table top is 5mm tempered safety glass - designed to shatter into small, dull cubes rather than sharp shards if it's ever damaged. At 5mm, it's also thicker than the 3-4mm glass on many entry-level sets, which gives it a more solid, stable feel.

What's the difference between this and a cheaper bistro set?

The frame material. Cheaper bistro sets often use steel under the rattan, and steel rusts from the inside out through joints and bolt holes. This set uses an aluminium frame, which cannot rust, so you can leave it outside all year round. You also get 5mm tempered safety glass and cushions included.

Can I leave this Stone Grey rattan bistro set outside all year?

The frame and rattan can stay out all year round with no cover needed - the aluminium cannot rust and the UV-stabilised weave won't fade or go brittle. We advise storing the cushions away when you're not using them, especially through wet weather.

Is this a good choice if it's my first proper bistro set?

Starting with the right frame material is the single most important decision. Aluminium cannot rust, which is what makes year-round outdoor use realistic in the UK. We've seen customers replace steel bistro sets every 2-3 seasons - starting with aluminium avoids that cycle entirely.

Are cushions included with the set?

Cushions come with the set as standard. We chose non-waterproof cushions because waterproof coatings feel clammy, trap heat, and tend to crack after a couple of summers in UV. All you need to do is store them away when not in use - they'll last years.

How much assembly is required?

Only the table. The chairs arrive fully assembled. The table base is four panels that screw together with two screws per side, then four screws attach the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
