Will this fit a smaller patio without dominating it?

Yes, usually. The Mini sits within a 245cm x 245cm corner footprint, so it works on the compact patios most new-build, semi-detached and terraced gardens give you. A full-size 8-seater corner dining set typically needs around 3m by 3m and leaves nowhere to walk past with a tray.

If your patio is tight, mark the footprint out with masking tape on your slabs before you order, stand inside the shape, and walk the route you normally take to the back door or the side gate. Five minutes of tape settles whether the set works for the way you actually use the garden.

Is this a dining set you can really eat at?

Yes. The table top is at 70cm, which is dining height, not the 45cm a coffee table sits at. That is the difference between eating Sunday lunch properly and hunching forward over plates on your knees. The 90cm square gives you space for four place settings, and the cushions on the corner-sofa sections are 10cm deep, so they stay supportive through a long lunch instead of compressing the way 6-8cm budget cushions do after half an hour.

Will the grey suit my paving and planting?

Yes, usually. The weave is a mid-tone grey in natural light, so it looks right alongside sandstone paving, light slate, soft-grey porcelain, mixed-tone composite decking, or a painted fence in pale grey or stone. It is at the lighter end of the modern UK grey palette; if your patio is built around dark slate or charcoal bi-fold trim, the darker grey colourway of this range will sit better.

Is it really all-weather, no cover needed?

Yes for the structure. The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust, and we use a 0.2mm powder coating, two to three times thicker than most aluminium outdoor furniture carries, so the coating doesn't break down through wet winters. The HDPE rattan is UV-stabilised, so it will not fade, rot or go brittle year-round, and the 5mm tempered safety glass doesn't crack in British winters the way ordinary glass can.

This means no cover or seasonal storage, which saves you the hassle and the £50 to £100 a cover would cost. In our experience, customers come back ten or fifteen years later saying their rattan is just as good as when they first bought it. Cushions are the only part you'll want to bring in of an evening; bring them indoors or use a storage box between uses.

Can I rearrange the layout when the patio use changes?

Yes. The sections come apart, so you can switch between a left-hand and a right-hand L, slide a section back when the patio doors open wide, or pull a piece forward to clear a delivery route through the side gate. A fixed-frame corner sofa locks you into one shape on day one; on a tight patio that means rearranging the garden around the furniture instead.

How long should this set last?

In our experience, aluminium-framed rattan sets are good for well over 10 years with proper cushion care. The aluminium frame cannot rust, and the UV-stabilised HDPE rattan will not go brittle in the sun. Keep cushions stored away when not in use and you will get the best out of it.

Do you have a showroom where I can see this set before buying?

Will the grey rattan fade in the sun?

UV-stabilised HDPE rattan will not fade or go brittle in sunlight. In our experience, it is the UV stabilisation that stops grey sets looking washed-out after a couple of summers, particularly on south-facing patios.

How much assembly is required?

Only the table. The seating arrives fully assembled. The table base is two panels joined by a central bar, with two screws each side of the bar, then four screws attach the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Is 10cm cushion depth enough for comfort?

10cm provides a comfortable sit for a compact corner set - supportive enough for long afternoons without the cushions overwhelming the seating proportions. We avoid thinner 6–8cm cushions because they tend to compress quickly with regular use.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.
