Is this set comfortable for long meals?

Yes. Most modern low-back outdoor sets have no real back support, so your posture rounds after twenty minutes and you've got an ache before pudding arrives. We designed this set differently.

We use 10cm cushions (versus the thinner 6-8cm cushions you'll find in cheaper sets) because thicker cushions don't compress under regular use. Paired with the high-back design that properly supports your back and shoulders, this means you can sit through a 3-hour Sunday lunch without aches or fidgeting.

Is it really all-weather, no cover needed?

Yes. The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust, and we use a 0.2mm powder coating, two to three times thicker than what most aluminium garden furniture carries, so the coating doesn't break down through wet winters and freezing nights. We also use hand-woven UV-stabilised synthetic rattan, which won't fade, rot or go brittle when left outside year-round.

This means the set is fully weatherproof and doesn't need a cover or storage, so it saves you the hassle and the £50-£100 a cover would cost. In our experience, customers come back ten or fifteen years later saying their rattan is just as good as when they first bought it.

Can I rearrange it when my patio set-up changes?

Yes. The sections come apart, so you can rearrange the layout when the BBQ comes out, when you need to clear a walkway for a gathering, or when family arrangements change. A non-modular set leaves you with far less flexibility, particularly on a new-build patio or a smaller decking area where every 20-30cm of walkway counts.

How does this compare to other corner sets at this price?

Cheaper corner sets at this size use steel frames that rust within a couple of winters and PVC rattan that goes brittle in the sun. You'd be replacing the set sooner and dealing with rust streaks on your paving in the meantime.

Considering a big-name brand at £2,000 or more? You'd be paying mainly for the marketing and the polished website. Will the grey rattan fade in the sun?

The rattan is HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and UV-stabilised, so it holds its colour and shape outside year after year. PVC rattan - which is what you'll find on many cheaper sets - cracks and goes brittle after a couple of summers in direct sun. HDPE avoids that failure pattern entirely.

What's the difference between this and a £900 rattan corner dini

Usually the frame material and the cushions. Cheaper sets are often steel-framed, and steel rusts from the inside out through joints and bolt holes. This set uses an aluminium frame that cannot rust. You also get 10cm cushions included, whereas many lower-priced sets use 6–8cm cushions that compress quickly with regular use. We back it with a 3-Year Guarantee, too.

Can I leave the Sapcote modular corner dining set outside all ye

The frame and rattan can stay outside all year round with no cover needed - aluminium cannot rust, and the HDPE rattan is UV-stabilised. We advise storing the cushions away when you're not using them, because they last far longer kept dry and aired rather than left out in damp weather.

Is this set comfortable enough to sit on for hours?

The high rattan back gives more upper-body support than standard low-back lounge sets, and the 10cm cushions hold their shape through longer sessions. What we've found is that thinner cushions feel fine initially but compress noticeably after 30–40 minutes - which matters more at a dining set where you're sitting upright for a full meal.

Does it arrive flat-packed or assembled?

Only the table. The seating arrives fully assembled. The table base is two panels joined by a central bar, with two screws each side of the bar, then four screws attach the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Is the glass on the dining table safe?

It's 5mm tempered safety glass, which handles knocks and temperature swings better than standard glass - exactly what outdoor furniture needs to cope with during a sharp British frost. If tempered glass ever does break, it shatters into small, less dangerous pieces rather than sharp shards.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
