Is this set comfortable for long meals?

Yes. Most modern low-back outdoor sets have no real back support, so your posture rounds after twenty minutes and you've got an ache before pudding arrives. We designed this set differently.

We use 10cm cushions (versus the thinner 6-8cm cushions you'll find in cheaper sets) because thicker cushions don't compress under regular use. Paired with the high back that properly supports your back and shoulders, this means you can sit through a 3-hour Sunday lunch without aches or fidgeting.

Will the dark grey suit my patio and door trim?

Yes, usually. The dark grey rattan is anthracite in natural light, so it pairs cleanly with dark slate paving, charcoal porcelain, anthracite bi-fold trim, or charcoal composite decking. If your garden is already in that palette, this is the colour that works with it rather than clashing.

Is it really all-weather, no cover needed?

Yes. The frame is aluminium, which cannot rust, and we use a 0.2mm powder coating, two to three times thicker than what most aluminium garden furniture carries, so the coating doesn't break down through wet winters and freezing nights. We also use hand-woven UV-stabilised synthetic rattan, which won't fade, rot or go brittle when left outside year-round.

This means the set is fully weatherproof and doesn't need a cover or storage, so it saves you the hassle and the £50-£100 a cover would cost. In our experience, customers come back ten or fifteen years later saying their rattan is just as good as when they first bought it.

Can I rearrange it when my patio set-up changes?

Yes. The sections come apart, so you can rearrange the layout when the BBQ comes out, when you need to clear a walkway for a gathering, or when family arrangements change. A non-modular set leaves you with far less flexibility.

The frame and rattan can stay outside through every season with no cover needed. The aluminium frame cannot rust, and the HDPE rattan is UV-stabilised and all-weather. The only regular care is cushion storage - we advise keeping them indoors or in a storage box when you're not using the set.

What's the difference between this and cheaper rattan corner din

The frame and the comfort. Cheaper sets often use steel frames hidden under the rattan, and steel rusts from the inside out through joints and bolt holes. Very little. The weave is HDPE rattan, which is UV-stabilised to resist fading and brittleness. Unlike cheaper PVC-style weaves that go pale and crack after a couple of summers, HDPE holds its colour and flexibility for years. A quick hose down now and then keeps the finish looking even.

Are the cushions waterproof?

No, and that's deliberate. We avoid stiff plastic-coated cushions because they feel clammy, trap heat, and the coatings crack after a couple of summers in UV. These cushions are made for comfort first. All you need to do is store them in a storage box or indoors when rain is on the way and they'll stay fresh for years.

Do you have a showroom where I can see this set before I buy?

Our showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre in Leicestershire has this set on display - sitting on it properly is the only real way to judge back height and cushion comfort. Unlike online only retailers, we've been here for for 25 years with a real place you can visit, and we're here to help after you buy too.

How much assembly is required?

Only the table. The seating arrives fully assembled. The table base is two panels joined by a central bar, with two screws each side of the bar, then four screws attach the tabletop. All screws are included, and a screwdriver is the only tool you should need.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
