The table comes with a 5mm tempered safety glass top - tempered glass handles the temperature swings you get in a British spring (warm sun, then a cold evening, then a frost) without the cracking risk you get with standard glass. Cushions are included for all four seats, and we advise storing them away when you're not using them. We avoid stiff plastic-coated cushions: they feel clammy, trap heat, and the coating cracks after a couple of summers in UV. All you need to do is keep them somewhere dry between uses, and leave the frame and rattan outside all year round.

What's the difference between this and a cheaper 4 seater rattan

The big difference is what you can't see at first: the frame and the weave. This set uses an aluminium frame that cannot rust, plus UV-stabilised HDPE rattan that resists fading and brittleness. Cheaper sets typically use steel frames - where rust starts inside the joints - and PVC rattan that can crack after a couple of summers.

Can I leave this rattan sofa lounge set outside all year round?

The aluminium frame cannot rust and the UV-stabilised HDPE rattan is made for year-round outdoor use, so the furniture can stay outside through every season. We advise storing the cushions away when you're not using them to keep them comfortable and dry.

Is the Natural rattan colour likely to fade in the sun?

The rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE, which holds its colour through sustained sun exposure. In our experience, UV stability is what separates a set that still looks consistent after years outside from one that goes patchy and brittle - and on a lighter colour like Natural, that difference shows more quickly.

Is the glass top safe for family gardens?

Can I change the layout of the set later on?

You can visit our garden furniture showroom at Sapcote Garden Centre in Leicestershire and see the Sapcote range in person. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff are there seven days a week and can talk you through the materials and what to expect long-term.

We're a family-run business based in Leicestershire, and our team is here 7 days a week on 01455 274748. Unlike online-only retailers, you can speak to real people who know the furniture and can help sort any issues - no matter how long ago you bought.

Are the cushions waterproof?

No - and that's deliberate. What we've found is that waterproof coatings feel clammy, trap heat, and crack after a couple of summers in UV. We chose breathable fabrics for comfort and advise storing cushions when you're not using them. The all-weather part is the frame and the rattan.

How much assembly is required?

None at all. Every piece arrives fully assembled, the table included. Unbox it, set it out on the patio, and you're ready.

Delivery is included in the price, 3-7 working days to mainland UK. Your furniture is delivered on pallets via our courier, and we'll email you a timed delivery window so you're not waiting around all day.

Worth knowing: our courier delivers to the kerbside or driveway, they won't take items around the back of the house, and the pallet and boxes are left with you. If you'd prefer a white-glove delivery with set-up and rubbish taken away, get in touch and we can usually help.

We dispatch from our Leicestershire garden centre. "In stock" means we have it here, ready to send, not drop-shipped from a third-party warehouse.

Returns: if you're not happy, let us know within 7 days and you can return it within 30 days for a refund (minus return delivery costs). The furniture must be in its original condition and packaging, and we'll arrange the collection with you.
